Discounts for Connecticut Policyholders

Homeowner Insurance Discounts

Account Credit- If Quincy Mutual Group insures your automobile and homeowners policies, you are eligible for a discount on both polices. Discounts are up to 30% on your homeowners and 12 % on the auto.

Deductible Discount- Choose a higher deductible and reduce the cost of your homeowner’s policy premium!

Alarm Discounts- Does your home have smoke detectors, central station fire and burglar alarms? Depending on the type of system and how it is monitored, you are eligible for a premium discount.

New Home Discount- If your home was built within the last 19 years, we will discount your policy up to 25%.

Loss Free- If you have not had a loss to your home in the past three years, we will discount your policy premium.

Superior Construction- Homes built entirely with non combustible materials are eligible for a premium discount.

Automobile Insurance Discounts

Account Credit – If Quincy Mutual Group insures your automobile and homeowners policies,  you are eligible for a discount on both polices. Discounts are up to 30% on your homeowners and 12% on the auto.

Paid In Full Discount – You will be eligible for a 5% discount when the policy is paid in full by the due date of the first installment.

Deductible Discounts – Choose a higher deductible on Collision and/or Other Than Collision Coverages and reduce your premium!

Multi-Car Discount - If two or more of your autos are insured with Quincy Mutual, you are eligible for an additional discount. If you have a personal auto and a company car, we will also apply the multi-car discount.

Good Driver Discount- If all operators on your policy have had no “at fault” accident in three years, we will apply a 10% discount to your policy.

Driver Training Discount – Operators under the age of 21 that have completed a qualified driver education course may be eligible for a 5% discount, dependent on selected coverages.

Annual Mileage Discount – If you may be eligible for a discount based on the annual mileage driven

Anti-Theft Devices- If your automobile is equipped with an anti-theft device, you could be eligible for a discount of up to a 15% on your coverages (other than collision).   

Good Student Discount – Students who have a grade point average equal to or above a B or 3.00 are eligible for a discount.

Student Away Discount- Students who attend a school over 100 miles from a vehicle’s place of garaging, and are rated operators on a policy, are eligible for a discount.

Early Issue- If you buy your insurance from Quincy Mutual Group at least 5 days before the effective date of the policy, we will apply a 6% premium discount to your policy. The discount will reduce by 2% on each of the next two renewals.
